ACE 21st Century
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), also known as Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE), serves as a supplementary program to enhance local reform efforts. The program assists students in meeting academic standards in core subjects (math, reading, science, social studies) by providing out-of-school time services to students and their families through community learning centers that offer an array of enrichment activities to complement regular academic programs.
Activities include youth development, drug and violence prevention, fine arts, science, technology, physical fitness, health, wellness, nutrition, community service, mentoring, college preparedness, career exploration, work force readiness and civic responsibility. Families of students participating at ACE Centers are also offered opportunities for literacy, parenting, technology and related educational development opportunities.
Our Mission, Vision, Purpose, Passion = Student Success!
