Welcome to Communities In Schools - Texas Joint Venture

Welcome to our “New” Communities In Schools Joint Venture (CIS) Website. CIS is composed of three individual 501(C) 3 Non Profit agencies consisting of CIS of Brazoria County, CIS, Southeast Harris County and the North Pasadena Community Outreach (NPCO). These 3 agencies sponsor several major programs and direct services to over 10,000 students in 54 campus based CIS programs, 31 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), US Dept. of Education Mentoring Programs, NPCO Adult and Youth Services, and Community Youth Development programs in 64 schools within 8 school districts.

The program websites include pertinent information about that program, staff contacts for each program, and performance achievements.

Also, you’ll notice that we have posted multiple sets of photos in slide shows of the many activities that are offered on this page and the program pages.
